Finca Fátima is a nearly century-old, family-run coffee farm in Coatepec, Veracruz, now stewarded by third-generation producers Ernesto Perez and Givette Perez Orea. Sitting at 1,250 masl—where Arabica coffee was first introduced to Mexico—the 20-hectare estate has focused on premium quality since the 1970s. Today, Ernesto and Givette continue to elevate the farm by producing meticulously cultivated lots of Criolla, Typica, and Geisha, including entries for Mexico’s Cup of Excellence.
In the cup, expect a clean, balanced profile with a pear-like crispness and a lingering agave sweetness and complexity, sitting upon a well-rounded base of toasted almond.
