Sprouting from the rich volcanic soils in the mountains of Manizales, this honey processed Gesha is truly special. We love this coffee for it’s bright citric qualities, reminding us of blood orange, as well as it’s soft sweetness of panela and concord grape. This Gesha has lush floral notes and a mellow body, with the finish reminding us of a black tea.

Producer Profile
Tío Conejo represents several farms, however their family farm of 40 acres is located near Manizales, Colombia, in the Andean mountains. Tío Conejo means “Uncle Rabbit” in Spanish; a local children’s folktale character symbolizing the tenacity and resilience of coffee growers. Their farm and export relationships are focused on empowering disadvantaged coffee growers by providing access to the specialty coffee market and supporting sustainable changes to Colombia’s very conventional coffee production culture.
